Many times people get so caught up in the “flash & sparkle” of a wedding. Everything has to be perfect! The colors have to match! The groom’s tie needs to be the same shade of the napkins at the reception! It can go on and on!
Sometimes when this happens, you get what is called the “Peacock Effect” A peacock is one of the most beautiful birds you may ever see; except when you get really close! A peacock, up close is just ugly! Ugly black wrinkled skin and a really bad attitude!
The “Peacock Effect” happens behind the scenes! While everything is beautiful and coordinated; countless hours of arguments, frustrations and near break ups are behind the extravagant details.
However, there is beauty in simplicity! Keeping a wedding beautiful, simple and stress free is very beautiful thing to see! It’s rare! It only happens on rare occasions!
This is just as rare…the beautiful albino peacock! Simple…looks like a snowflake! 
So, the moral of the story is, yes, there is beauty in simplicity!
